Approach into Kay Tak Airport is quite an experience. The runway
protrudes into Hong Kong harbour, while the approach is in the direction of
the mountains. During the approach the airplane is heading for the mountain,
at the last minute it makes a sharp right hand turn. While the plane is
turning sharply you are looking right down into the houses. Then the plane
levels out and you are almost touching the flats, and then half a minute
later touchdown
North of Kuala Lumpur are the Batu Cave's.
The caves are a Hindu shrine, a few times per year processions are held to
the cave's. Along the stairs to the big cave and near the lake, there are
monkeys roaming around. They are begging for food and if possible they steal
what ever they can. When Willy approached one of the smaller Macaque, the
older ones became quit vicious. The teeth are rather big and sharp.
Southeast of Kauala Lumpur the Then Hou
Temple is situated. The complex gives a good impression of the style of the
Chinese temples.
